This is me after my first workout in a long time. I’m exhausted because I’m the heaviest I’ve ever been and I’m fighting allergies at the same time.
Since my last weigh in at my doctor’s office I’ve lost 4 pounds. That’s mostly due to watching what I eat. Now, I’m throwing exercise back into the mix.
I’m hoping by putting this blog post out here, I’ll motivate myself and others to keep up the battle. My current weight is 222 pounds. That puts me in the obese category. I have a true health need to lose this weight for me and my family. My hope is to reach 130.
My plan of action to start an exercise plan is to take it slow at first with some walking on the treadmill. I noticed today while using the elliptical I was having a hard time lifting my legs because they felt like lead. I figure if I do the treadmill for a while to work up to the elliptical that may be a better plan.
I’ll keep you all updated on my progress. It’s going to be a long haul, but definitely worth it!
